(TROY,
MI) – AARP’s “Driver
Safety” program for seniors age 50 and over will be offered Monday and Tuesday, May 4 and 5, from
10 am - 2:30 pm at the Troy Community Center. The eight-hour classroom refresher is a
comprehensive curriculum designed especially for the older motorist.
You
do not need to be an AARP member to attend this informational event. Registration is required. The fee is $12 for residents and $14 for
non-residents. Some insurance companies
offer incentives for completing the program.
Seniors
60 and older can take advantage of the senior lunch with a suggested donation
of $2.75. Participants under the age of 60 can purchase a senior lunch for $6.
