TROY DAZE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE ACCEPTING BOOTH APPLICATIONS NOW

(TROY, MI) – Don’t miss out on reserving a booth at one of the biggest festivals in the area. The 2008 Troy Daze Festival Committee is accepting applications for community and business groups for its 40th annual Troy Daze Festival, September 11-14 at Boulan Park.  Booth space for businesses, non-profit and community groups is still available under the main booth tent.

The long-standing community event attracts 100,000 people each year, who want to enjoy the best entertainment, food and festivities in Troy.

“Troy Daze strives to strengthen our sense of community by providing the City with a safe, alcohol-free environment filled with loads of family fun and where community members can share and celebrate their talents, ethnicity, experiences, diversity and future promise,” said Cindy Stewart, Community Affairs Director for the City of Troy.

For more information about booth rules, policies, procedures, costs, times of operation, and an official application, log on to the City of Troy’s website at www.troymi.gov/troydaze. Interested parties may also reserve booths by calling Festival Booth Chair, Bob Berk at 248.528.0155.
