Troy Public Library Offers Range of Computer Classes to

Improve Your Technology Skills



(TROY, MI) – Job seekers looking for additional computer skills can look to the Troy Public Library’s Technology Department for a full range of computer classes.

 

Funded through the generous support of the Friends of the Troy Public Library, the classes are for both the beginning and experienced computer users.  The classes include Computer Basics, Beginning Word, Beginning Excel, Using Electronic Library Resources, and Introduction to Online Job Sites.  The two-part, two-hour classes are hands-on and provide plenty of time for questions and individualized help.

 

The Library also offers an intensive, 40-hour, two-week course, “Computer Literacy for the Job Seeker,” providing the skills and confidence necessary to handle an online job search.
