Library hosts a variety of programs that offer valuable cultural experiences to
its patrons to expand their view of the world beyond the city limits. Two of the key March events are:
Elizabeth the Great of
England with Maureen Esther

Elizabeth
was Henry VIII’s daughter, England’s Glorianna and
the first monarch to have an era named after her. Visit Elizabethan England with a
jewel-studded discussion of the life and times of the legendary Elizabeth
I. Her steady course for England would
set the foundation for the colonization of America. This program is in honor of Women’s History
Month.
Sunday Afternoon with
the Arts at the Library Concert
Sunday, March 21, 3 pm
Welcome
spring with the chamber music repertoire and the warmly blended sound of the
Adventure Club Cello Quartet. This
ensemble is comprised of area cellists Naomi Levine, David Levine, Irina Tikhonova and Debra Shuster.
The
programs are free, thanks to the “Friends of the Troy Public Library.” The library is located at 510 West Big Beaver
