(TROY,
MI) –Photos are being
accepted for the upcoming Troy Daze Cutest Infant/Toddler Contest through
Friday, September 4 or as soon as 80 entries are received. Toddlers must be at least one year old, but
not yet three years old, as of September 3.
Infants must be less than one year old by that same date.
Submit one
current picture no larger than 3 ½” wide x 5” tall, or no smaller than a wallet
size. Only the child being submitted
should be in the picture, unless the photo is of twins, triplets, etc. Please write the child’s name, full address,
date of birth, sex of child and phone number on the back of the photo. Photos
will not be returned.
The public
is invited to vote for their favorites when the snapshots of Troy’s most
adorable babies and toddlers will be on display at the Troy Public Library
August 17- 30, the Troy Community Center September 1- 14 and the Troy Daze
Festival at Boulan Park September 17-20. Votes are $0.25 each or 4 for $1.00. The voting closes at 6 pm on Saturday,
September 19.
Four
winners (a boy and girl from both the Infant and Toddler categories) and four
runner-ups will be announced on Sunday, September 14 at 5:15 pm at the Festival
grounds in the Entertainment Tent at Boulan
Park. All proceeds from the voting will
help fund the Troy Daze Festival.
Entries can
be dropped off at the Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois. For more
