(TROY, MI) – The Troy Parks and Recreation
department offers a variety of “day camps” this summer, providing a wide range of
great experiences for school-age children.
Camp themes include: KIDS Camp, Survivor Summer Camp Kids Style,
“All That and Then Some…” Middle School Summer Blast, Sportsters Camp, Backyard
Explorers, Water Warriors and new this year, The Amazing Race Camp.
All are offered as five-day camps and
some are available as four-day camps at various weeks throughout the
summer. Registration to participate is
required. Fees range from $105 to $175,
depending upon the camp, and run from 9 am-4 pm, Monday-Friday. The camps are licensed by the State of
Michigan and have the option of before and/or after care for additional fees.
Drop-off for the camps is at the Troy
Community Center, except for the KIDS and Backyard Explorers Camps which
originate at the Troy Farm located at Beach Road and South Blvd.
