(TROY, MI) – Attention families: Mark your
calendars for Wednesday, July 16. You
won’t want to miss the 17th Annual Family Festival. Sponsored by the City of Troy and USA Credit
Union, the fun takes place from 5:30–8:30
pm at Boulan Park. Rain or shine, the festival will feature some
of the best family entertainment around, with games, food, music and more! Admission is free.
According to Elaine Bo, Parks and Recreation Supervisor,
“The Family Festival promises to be a great outing for everyone in the
family. There’s always so much to see
and do that people continue to come back year after year.”
The Family Festival will feature music by Chautaugua Express and Rick and Dana, as well as a
moonwalk, maze and obstacle course; strolling entertainers; games by Leisure
Unlimited; puppet shows; hands-on children’s crafts; climbing tower; door
prizes provided by USA Credit Union; and more!
The Troy Newcomers Club will be selling food and refreshments at the
park for a nominal charge.
A detailed entertainment schedule will be available at the
Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois) and Boulan
Park (off Crooks between Big Beaver and Wattles) on July 16, the day of the
festival (or that evening at Boulan Park).
