the Friends of the Troy Public Library Hold January

Clearance Sale on Gifts and Books

 

(TROY, MI) – Come check out a special clearance sale hosted by the Friends of the Troy Public Library.  The clearance of the Lobby Gift Shop is in preparation for an upcoming remodeling.  It is open to the public  Friday, January 23 from 10 am-6 pm and Saturday, January 24 from 10 am-12 pm.  All gift shop items will be 50-90 percent off.  A “members only pre-sale” will be held on Thursday, January 22 from 6-9 pm.

 

The sales will be held in the large meeting room inside the library.  There will be bargains on jewelry, decorative items, seasonal gifts, toys and more.  The Friends Book Shop will also be open for special deals on Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24 from 10 am-1 pm with 50 percent off everything.

 

The Friends is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that promotes and supports the library through advocacy and fundraising.

 

“We provide for over 400 free programs annually to residents,” Friends of the Troy Public Library President Jeff Stewart said.  “Proceeds from this sale will help us continue our efforts to help the library offer terrific enrichment programs.  We also invite folks to become a member of the Friends.”

 

An individual membership is only $10.  Membership offers special events, volunteer opportunities, and discounts for Friends activities.
