(TROY, MI) – The 8th annual Troy Garden Awards winners
were announced on August 25th in a special ceremony before the City
Council meeting. Mayor Louise Schilling
presented the awards in appreciation of the exceptional beauty that the
residents have cultivated to enhance their neighborhoods and the quality of
life in Troy. Descriptions were read as
a video of the winning garden played in the background. Winners were presented with certificates and
floral gifts. The video will be shown
on channel 10 (WideOpenWest) and channel 53 (Comcast)
on Wednesdays at 9:30 am, Thursdays at 6:30 pm, and Saturdays & Sundays at
3:30 pm and 9:30 pm.
