New Golf Rewards Program at Sylvan
Glen and Sanctuary Lake Golf Courses
TROY, MI – Troy’s
Sanctuary Lake and Sylvan Glen golf courses are great destinations for those
looking to get out in the sun and hit the links. A new Golf Rewards Program starts
on July 1 for
both of Troy’s beautiful golf courses:
Sylvan Glen at 5725 Rochester Road, and Sanctuary Lake at 1450 South
Boulevard.
Join the Golf Rewards Program
This program allows you to accumulate points based on dollars
spent at the golf course to acquire free rounds of golf. It’s this simple:
for every dollar spent on greens fees, range balls and merchandise you receive
points. Once you reach a certain total you will receive a free round of
golf. For 175 points receive 9 holes of golf on a weekday; for 200 points
receive 18 holes Senior weekday; and for 300 points
receive 18 holes Adult weekday. There is
no sign up fee; you just need your driver’s license to get started. This
program will be used at both Sanctuary Lake and Sylvan Glen Golf Courses
beginning July 1st. If you have any questions please contact

Red, White and Blue
Celebration – On Saturday, July 4th all golfers wearing Red, White and
Blue will receive an instant $5 discount
Golf and Dine Event – On
Friday, July 19th all interested golfers can register for our golf and dine
event. From 2‐7 pm, $30 will buy you 9
Holes of golf with cart, an entrée with choice of salad, and a draft beer or
house wine.
Sanctuary Lake Golf Course is built on 200 acres. This
links-style, par 71 course incorporates ornamental
grasses, ponds and heathered plants. It features a practice facility with 70
hitting stations with both natural and artificial hitting surfaces. In addition to the range, there are two
practice greens and a pro shop. The
Sanctuary Lake Golf Academy is also available to golfers who want private or
semi-private lesson.
Troy’s
oldest golf course, Sylvan Glen Golf Course, is an 18-hole, par 71 course that
covers more than 150 acres and offers a challenging blend of water, trees and
sand. A fixture in the city since 1922,
the course has seen the addition of three new tee boxes has added length, and
new wetland areas add to the difficulty and challenge at Sylvan Glen. Amenities include a full-service pro shop and
golf carts. The facility supplies more
than 65,000 rounds of golf per season.
