Troy’s Sanctuary Lake and Sylvan Glen golf courses have four tournaments
planned for the month of September.

City
Championships, Saturday, Sept. 6 & Sunday, Sept. 7 at Sanctuary Lake: Format is 36 holes stroke play. Saturday tee times beginning at 2 pm. Sunday tee times at 8 am.
Entry fee is $100. Includes golf, carts, range balls, prizes,
and lunch both days. Entry forms available at Sanctuary Lake Pro Shop.
Entry deadline is Friday, Aug. 29, at 6 pm.
Men's
Championship, Saturday, Sept. 6 & Sunday, Sept. 7, at Sanctuary Lake: Entry Fee is $100. The format is 36-Hole
stroke play. Round 1, 18 Hole stroke play on Saturday,
Sept. 6. Round 2, 18 Hole stroke play on Sunday, Sept.
7. USGA rules apply. Includes greens fees, cart, range,
prizes and lunch both days. Players must be 18 years old as of Sept. 6,

Sanctuary
Lake Golf Course, located
at 1450 South Boulevard, is built on nearly 200 acres. It is a links-style, par 71 course that
incorporates ornamental grasses, ponds, and heathered
plants. It features a practice facility
with 70 hitting stations, a short-game area, clubhouse, full-service pro shop
and Piper’s Pub, a full-service restaurant.
The Sanctuary Lake Golf Academy is also available to golfers who want
private or semi-private lessons.
Sylvan
Glen Golf Course,
located at 5725 Rochester Road, is an 18-hole, par 71 course
that covers more than 150 acres and offers a challenging blend of water, trees
and sand. The addition of three new tee
boxes has added length, and new wetland areas add to the difficulty and
challenge at Sylvan Glen. Amenities
include a full-service pro shop, golf carts, and Camp Ticonderoga restaurant
and grill room. The facility supplies
over 65,000 rounds of golf per season.
