Learn How to Make Your
Spring Cleaning “Green Cleaning” at the Nature Center
(TROY,
MI) – The Lloyd A.
Stage Nature Center is offering the chance to learn how to make Earth-friendly
cleaning products on Sunday, April 11
from 12:30-2 pm. Learn how to use
common kitchen ingredients such as vinegar, olive oil and baking soda to create
your own environmentally friendly cleaning products including an all-purpose
cleaner, cream cleanser, laundry detergent and furniture polish.
Bring one-two
refillable containers and or spray bottles for storing the freshly made “green”
cleaning products to use at home.
Ingredients and copies of the recipes for the products are included.

Registration
is required. The fee is $12 per person for residents and
$14 for non-residents. This program is
great for ages 12-adult. The Nature
