Happy Halloween Party – Thurs. Oct. 23, 12:30 - 2 pm at the Troy Community
Center
Come for a
party to celebrate Halloween preschool style. Kids will make projects, sing
songs, and tell stories to make Halloween an extra special time! The party will
end with a howling good snack. Children should be comfortable alone as we
cannot address separation issues in this short class. Register
with Activity # 142008C. The fee for this event is $10.

Boo Bash - Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 am-1 pm at the Troy Community Center
Drop by for spooky carnival games and
creepy crafts for young ghouls and goblins. Fee for the event is $7 and
includes game coupons (one for each game), craft station, rub-on tattoos,
pumpkin decorating which kids can take home, and a goodie bag upon
departure. Additional game coupons will
be available for 25 cents each or 5/$1.

Trick or Treat – A Knight at the Museum,
Saturday, Oct. 25,
from 1-3 p.m. at the Troy Museum
Princesses,
wizards, jesters, and of course knights are coming to the Village for a royal
adventure this Halloween. Children may
come in costume and trick or treat at each of our historic buildings. There will be a fencing demonstration, a fun
catapult game and even a strolling minstrel.
The Troy Garden Club will give away mini-pumpkins while supplies
last. The Troy Museum Guild will provide
cider and doughnuts. The first 250
children will receive an inflatable knight’s sword. Admission is free, but donations are
welcome. The Troy Museum is located at 60 West Wattles Road on the
northwest corner of Wattles and Livernois.
There will be no parking available at the Museum; attendees can park at
Zion Christian Church, 3668 Livernois, (between Wattles and Big Beaver) and
ride a free shuttle to the Museum. For

Creepy
Comedy Show – Sat.,

Come to the Troy Public Library for Sam the Skeleton
and Joel Tracy create a laugh riot with costumes, comedy, juggling, magic and
more! Great for all

Trick or Treat Among
the Trees, Saturday,
Oct. 25, at select time slots in the evening at the Stage Nature Center
Halloween doesn’t have to be ghastly and frightening; it can
be fun and friendly. Join the Lloyd A.
Stage Nature Center for an outdoor Halloween celebration! Put your Halloween
costume on and come out to hike the woodland pumpkin trail. After checking in
at the Nature Center, each child gathers with others at his/her registered
time. Then the group hikes down the trail with a guide, stopping at natural
history stations along the way. At each stop children will learn some secrets
of the forest and receive a treat or special prize. There will be one final
stop at the Nature Center for a special treat!
This program is for children 3-9 years old and their parent
or grandparent! The adult partner is free and must accompany the child
throughout the program. Dress for the weather! Minimum
registration numbers are required by October 18. The fee for this event is $7.

The Troy Parks & Recreation Department has
convinced the ghouls and goblins to celebrate Halloween one more day with a
special Halloween Afterglow Party at the Community Center Indoor Pool. It’s a great chance for kids 12 and under to
burn off some of that Halloween-candy energy with games and fun in the
pool. Bring your camera to get a picture
with the staff in costume. The fee is $10. All participants under 10 must have a parent
in the water with them. Call
