Troy Historic Village Hosts Trick or Treat: Legends, Tall Tales & Heroes

(TROY, MI) – The Troy Historic Village plays host to a fabulous Halloween event on Saturday, October 29 from 1-3 pm.

The legends and heroes of history are coming to the Village this year for a very friendly (not scary or spooky) Halloween event.  Children can trick-or-treat from building to building and listen to a tall tale told by Paul Bunyan, aka Sheepshank Sam!

Park at Zion Church, 3668 Livernois, south of Wattles Road, and ride the free shuttle bus to the Village. Admission: $5.  Free admission for costumed trick-or-treaters 12 years old and under when accompanied by an adult.

“The village is a great backdrop for children to trick or treat in a fun and safe environment while learning about history,” Museum Manager Loraine Campbell said.

The Troy Historic Village is located at 60 West Wattles Road at the northwest corner of Wattles and Livernois.  For more information, call 248.524.3570.
