MI) Sign up for the
next Homelife Tour & Buttermaking
program at the Troy Museum & Historic Village and see what life was like in
three separate eras in American history.
The next tour is Saturday,
November 1 from 1-2:15 pm.
Registration is required by October 28.
The
experience will compare living in the pioneer log cabin, the Civil War-era
Caswell house, and the turn of the century Parsonage farmhouse, Museum Manager
Loraine Campbell said. The focus is on
architecture, cooking, social roles, and technology in daily life.
The chance
to experience buttermaking follows the tour,
including tasty samples.
Registration is going on now at the Museum, located at 60 W.
