Friday Night JamFests are Back by Popular Demand

(TROY, MI) – High school students looking for a good party with great music know to head to Summer JamFests on Friday nights at the Troy Family Aquatic Center. JamFests run from 8-11 p.m. and parents can feel secure sending their teens to this substance-free party sponsored by local police departments.

“Summer JamFests give teens the chance to have the Aquatic Center all to themselves and enjoy food, music, volleyball and swimming,” Officer Nickie Kaptur said.  “It’s an opportunity to interact with each other and enjoy themselves in a fun and safe environment.  There’s no question this is a great place to bring all that terrific summer teen energy.”

Admission is only $5.  There’s swimming, sand volleyball contests, bands, disc jockeys, water basketball, jewelry making, and more. Admission includes a $3 voucher that teens receive toward concessions. Troy, Beverly Hills, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Auburn Hills, and Clawson teens are welcome to attend.  The Aquatic Center is located in the Troy Civic Center at 3425 Civic Center Dr.
