(TROY, MI) – Attention
teens! Don’t get stressed by test scores and college applications! Before
entering your senior year, get ahead of the college game by attending “College
Bound” at the Troy Public Library. This event, held Wednesday, July 9, from 2-4 pm, will
feature the advice of award-winning college counselor Patrick O’Connor.
“Choosing a college is one of the most important
decisions an individual can make in their lifetime,” said Judy Franklin, TPL
Librarian. “The process shouldn’t be taken lightly and we encourage all teens
to start researching schools early.”
O’Connor will enlighten teens with tips and
tricks that they can use during the rest of the summer that can jumpstart this
process and reduce stress during their upcoming senior year. No registration is
required for this free event.
The Troy Public Library is located at 510
West Big Beaver Road. For more
