(TROY, MI)
– The Troy Parks & Recreation Department seeks responsible teens ages 14-17
interested in working with children for an opportunity to gain valuable work
experience over the summer.
Selected teens will work closely with
children at day camps, safety town or the aquatic area and will earn community
service hours while learning leadership skills.
Program registrants must complete an interest application and submit two
letters of recommendation by May 1.
The program requires a 5-8 day
commitment and hours will vary depending on location assignment. The goal is to help teens gain valuable
community experience that they can add to their resumes and college
applications.
Registration is required by May
1. The fee is $25 for registrants and
$30 for non-residents. The Troy
Community Center is located at 3179 Livernois.
