Music for Clarinet and Bassoon at the Library October 12

Concert is Part of the Troy Public Library’s
“Sunday Afternoon with the Arts” Program

(TROY, MI) – The “Sunday Afternoons with the Arts” concert offered by the Troy Public Library on Sunday, October 12, at 3 pm, will feature Detroit Symphony Orchestra bassoonist Marcus Schoon and Oakland University clarinetist George Stoffan.

Schoon and Stoffan will fill the afternoon with works by Beethoven and Poulenc. They will also join forces with Oakland University pianist Yin Zheng to perform Glinka’s Trio for clarinet, bassoon and piano.

The concert is free and no reservations are needed. Interested attendees are encouraged to arrive early for a good seat.
