(TROY, MI) – Milverton Park in Troy now offers the LifeTrail Advanced Wellness System. This senior activity
area utilizes functional fitness for older, active adults. The park provides 21
activity panels featuring 159 execise bars and user-friendly instructions that
help beginners get accustomed to the equipment; these include lower-body
cycling exercises, overhead press exercises, and stairs exercises. Seniors
using the equipment on a regular basis often see better posture, improved
balance, greater flexibility, and increased strength.
In addition to the senior exercise
equipment, the park features a set of school age swings, toddler swings, a
picnic shelter, and a set of climbing rocks. The park offers activities for
people of all ages. All of the Milverton Park amenities were paid for through Community
Development Block Grant funding.
Milverton Park is located on Maple Rd. between John R. and Dequindre in Troy.
