MI) – The Area Agency
on Aging IB has scheduled a “Medicare Enrollment Day” at the Troy Community Center
for the Medicare Part D Prescription plans on Friday, December 3, from 10 am-3 pm at the Troy Community Center,
Room 304/305. Call 1.800.852.7795 to
schedule an appointment.
Staff
and trained volunteers with laptops and internet access will be on hand to sit
down and help attendees navigate through the many plans to make an informed
decision about which plan will best fill their needs.
“Even
if you are already enrolled in a Medicare Part D program, there may be changes
that affect how much you pay for your prescriptions,” Recreation Supervisor
Carla Vaughan said. “You may want to
review your decision as many plans will be raising their premiums.”
Vaughan
said participants should bring their current medications to be sure the correct
spelling and dosage are comprehended.
