(TROY, MI) – Take a few
moments to honor and remember all the men and women who served our
country as well as those who are currently serving around the world. The City of Troy hosts its annual Memorial
Day Ceremony on Monday, May 31 at 11 am at Veterans Memorial Plaza in
front of Troy City Hall (500 W. Big Beaver Road).
Join others to honor veterans with
memorializing speeches, music and reflection. Captain Brad Caton,
Commander of the Pontiac Recruiting Company in Troy, will be the keynote speaker.
The ceremony will also include the
dedication of new veteran memorial bricks and the laying of a Memorial
Wreath. It concludes with the raising of
colors, a moment of silence and the benediction.
The public is welcome to attend. The ceremony will last approximately one
