WINNERS FOR THE
2008 MISS TROY AND JUNIOR MISS TROY
PAGEANTS

– The Troy Daze Festival Committee announced the winners of the 2008 Miss Troy
and Junior Miss Troy Pageants held on Saturday, August 16 at Troy High School.

1st Runner Up:

The winner of the Miss Troy Pageant
receives a $500 scholarship. Winners
selected in the Junior Miss Troy Pageants receive gift certificates. According to Miss Troy Executive Director
Danielle Cover, “This is a wonderful traditional pageant for the young ladies
and women of Troy,” Cover said. “Competition
areas included interview, casual wear and evening wear. The competition helps these young ladies
build their poise and self-esteem.”
The 2008 Miss Troy & Junior Miss
Troy Pageants will be shown on WTRY (WOW 10/Comcast 53) Tuesdays at 12 pm and
Fridays at 9 pm beginning August 26, 2008.
