Enjoy Sunday Afternoon Concerts at the Troy Museum

 

(TROY, MI) – A great line-up of musicians will perform on Sunday afternoons in August from 2-4 pm at the Troy Museum.  Spend a relaxing summer afternoon with your lawn chair and picnic lunch while you enjoy the sounds of Calypso, Irish Jigs, and Rock:

 

August 3       Gratitude Steel Band: Calypso and Reggae music that’s fun for all.

 

August 10     Blackthorn: Jigs, reels, and ballads provide a great Irish experience.

 

August 17     Rich Eddy’s Rockin‘ Oldies Band: Have a rockin‘ good time with your favorite’50s & ’60s Rock and Roll music.

 

Snacks will also be available for purchase.

 

Music in the Air 2008 is funded in part by the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs. There is also a suggested donation at the gate of $5 for that age 18+. Donations support the Troy Historical Society’s Heritage Campaign to expand the Museum.

 

The Troy Museum is located at 60 West Wattles Road on the northwest corner of Wattles and Livernois.  Concerts will be moved indoors if it rains. For more information, call 248.524.3570.
