(TROY,
MI)
– The Troy City Clerk’s Office is receiving inquiries from voters that have
voted their Absentee Ballot and now wish to change their vote.
Voters
may spoil their voted ballot and receive a new ballot
similarly to a spoiled or changed vote in the precincts prior to 4 pm on Monday, February 22.
A voter can spoil or change their Absentee Ballot vote by
going to the City Clerk’s Office and requesting to spoil their ballot. Clerk’s Office Staff will retrieve their voted
ballot, mark it as a spoiled ballot then issue a new ballot. Poll booths have been set up outside of the
Clerk’s Office to allow voters to revote their ballot and submit it back to the
Clerk’s Office in one trip.
Voters are able to change their votes until 4 pm on the
Monday immediately preceding the election (Monday, February 22, 2010).
Please call the City Clerk’s Office should you require any
additional information or require assistance at 248.524.3316.
