MI) – Fascinating
tales and fun activities await curious young minds at the Troy Museum &
Historic Village:
Cheddar’s Preschool
Story Hour – Wednesday, November 4, at 10:30-11:15 am.
Listen
to a classic tale and complete a craft revolving around this month’s theme – Happy
Thanksgiving! A yummy treat will be
served to complete the experience. This event is appropriate for children ages
2-5 and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Phone registration is required. The fee for adults is $3; children attend for
free.
VillageTour
and Candlemaking – Saturday, November 21, from 1-3
pm.
Take
a trip through Troy’s past in the crisp fall air. An interpreter will guide
your visit to the City’s crown jewel as you learn about your community’s
heritage and hand-dip a souvenir candle. Dress for the weather. Fee: $5 per person. This event is appropriate
for third-graders to adult. Perfect for Scout Groups, too. Registration is required for groups (minimum
of five people) and each group is welcome to one free adult chaperone.
The
Troy Museum and Historic Village is located at 60 West Wattles Road at the
northwest corner of Wattles and Livernois.
