(TROY, MI) – Join
award-winning counselor Patrick O'Connor for College is Yours, a
two-part guided tour of the college selection process. On Monday, October 12th, learn
about conducting college searches, prepare for tests, and learn to ask for
letters of recommendation. On Monday, October
19th, learn how to organize the application process to meet deadlines, hear
hints on how to write essays, and get to know the financial aid system. Both sessions will be held at the Troy
Community Center and begin at 7:15 pm. Parents

On Thursday, October 15th
from 6:30 to 8:30 pm there will be a Cosplay event
sponsored by the Anime Club at Troy Public Library. This is your chance to dress up as your
favorite anime/manga character and compete for
awesome prizes. There will be a costume
contest, anime crafts, anime (of course) and awesome Japanese snacks. Register
