(TROY, MI) – Parents turning
the page on the calendar to make plans for the Fall months should be sure to
note the following dates and themes for the popular “Parents Night Out” events
at the Troy Community Center:
Saturday, September 13: “Back to School”
Saturday, October 11: “Autumn Colors”
Saturday, November 8: “Thanksgiving”
While Mom and Dad enjoy an evening out,
kids ages 7-12 can enjoy a special themed party from 5:30-9:30 pm. The evening is
full of fun, including pizza, crafts, games, swimming in the indoor aquatic
center and time in the gym.
“These nights are a hit for parents and kids alike,” Recreation Supervisor John Hug said. “This is a great opportunity for parents to enjoy some time out knowing their children are in a safe, fun environment loaded with activities.”
The cost for Parents Night Out is $15
per child. The adult to child ratio is 1:8. A total of 30 spots are available
