(TROY, MI) – Don’t let the
cabin fever hit you hard this winter. Enjoy a fun evening for everyone with “Parents
Night Out” at the Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois.
While Mom and Dad enjoy an evening out, kids ages 7-12 can enjoy a special
themed party from 5:30-9:30 pm. The evening is full of fun, including pizza,
crafts, games, swimming in the indoor aquatic center, and time in the gym.
Upcoming dates and themes include:
Saturday, December 13: “Holiday Season”
Saturday, January 10: “Winter Blast”
Saturday, February 14: “Beach Blast”
Saturday, March 14: “March Madness”
“These nights are a hit for parents and kids alike,” Recreation Supervisor John Hug said. “This is a great opportunity for parents to enjoy some time out knowing their children are in a safe, fun environment loaded with activities.”
The cost for Parents Night Out is $15
per child. The adult to child ratio is 1:8. A total of 30 spots are available
so register quickly. Parents must fill
out information cards in order for children to participate. For more
