– Attention gardeners: a perennial favorite is returning to Troy. In conjunction with the Troy Garden Club and
the Evening Primrose Garden Club, Troy Parks and Recreation is hosting its 16th
Perennial Plant Exchange on Saturday, May 15 from 10 am - noon at the
Troy Civic Center in the Aquatic Center parking lot.
No
registration is required for the event, which will take place rain or
shine. Trading only is
permitted; no money will change hands.
Master gardeners will also be on hand
to answer questions. Gardening
information and free compost will be available for you to take home in your own
containers.
All plants must be labeled as to the
type and color of bloom, if known. Only
healthy, pest-free plants may be exchanged.
To facilitate trading, wagons are permitted.
