Added to the City of Troy Website
(TROY,
MI) – The City of
Troy website – www.troymi.gov – has a new
feature to help Troy homeowners find out what their 2010 Property Taxes will be
with and without the added 1.9 mils that will be decided at the upcoming City
of Troy Special Election to be held on Tuesday, February 23.
Visit the
City of Troy website at www.troymi.gov and
click on the “Property Tax Estimator” link on the homepage. Just type in a street address and you will
see the property’s 2010 tax with and without the added 1.9 mils.
The City Assessor’s
Office is open 8 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday for additional questions related to
your property assessments that were mailed out to all homeowners this past week.
The Special
Election seeks voter input on whether or not to authorize the Troy City Council
the ability to levy up to 1.9 mills against all taxable property for a
five-year period of time, 2010 through 2014, for general
operating purposes.
