PUNT, PASS & KICK YOUR WAY TO
BOULAN PARK, SEPTEMBER 19
(TROY, MI) –
The Troy Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 23rd Annual MRPA/NFL
Punt, Pass and Kick Competition at Boulan Park, Saturday, September 19 at 10 am.
Each registered child, ages 8-15 (as of
Dec. 31, 2008), will have one punt, pass and kick for a total score based on
distance and accuracy. Children with the
highest accumulated score of each age and gender division will advance to a
sectional competition. Age divisions are
8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15 for boys and girls.
The registration deadline for this free event is Thursday,
September 17.
Parents must provide a copy of the
participating child’s birth certificate at the time of registration. Registration forms are available at the Troy
Community Center (3179 Livernois). No football
shoes or cleats permitted during competition; all-purpose gym shoes only.
