(TROY,
MI) – Seniors will not
want to miss an opportunity to take part in the 2009 Senior Expo at the Troy Community Center Tuesday, March 17
from 10 am - 2 pm. This year’s expo
features lots of vendors in a variety of areas including health care, financial
planning and housing options.
Many
vendors will be holding raffles and handing out free items and information. Attendees
who visit 15 of the vendors will be eligible for door prize drawings.
“This
annual event is attended by approximately 500 visitors,” Recreation Supervisor
Carla Vaughan said. “It offers effective
one-stop shopping for information on lots of topics that concerns our senior
citizens.”
Free
coffee and water will be available throughout the expo. A senior lunch will be served for those who
register for it from 11:45 am - 12:30 pm for a $2.75 suggested donation.
