(TROY, MI) – After a successful first session of Senior Speed
Dating, the Troy Community Center is once again hosting the fast and easy
dating service on Tuesday, December 2 from 6:30-9:30 pm.
The event is currently accepting registration from men age 55 and over.
“The
first Speed Dating event was a complete success” Recreation Supervisor Carla
Vaughan said. “This program takes the stress out of dating because it makes the
process fun. Women especially found this useful as they were the first to fill
up for the second session!”
This
event provides an opportunity for anyone looking for companionship or
friendship to meet and socialize. Participants will have five minutes to chat
before the men move to the next table. The event will conclude with a chance to
mix and mingle while enjoying appetizers and beverages. The event will be held
in room 304-305. Registered participants should arrive between 6:15-6:25 pm.
Space
is limited and only a few spots remain for men to register. Registration is $10 per person and the
deadline is Nov. 25. The Troy Community
Center is located at 3179 Livernois. For
