Three Upcoming Day Trips Take Seniors to
Great Places
(TROY, MI) – The Troy Parks & Recreation Department is offering
three separate day trips for seniors interested in exciting summer activities:
Huron Lady ll Cruise and Lunch at Quay Street
on Wednesday, June 24. Start
with a delicious meal at the Quay Street Restaurant on the Black River in Port
Huron. Choose one of the following: Chicken Picante,
Whitefish or Spinach Pie. After the meal, board the Huron Lady ll and cruise on the St. Clair River. Departure is 9:30 am,
returning at 4:30 pm. Fee: resident $50 and non-resident $55.
Portifino
Lunch and Cruise/ Wyandotte Street Fair on Wednesday, July 8.
Board a deluxe motor coach and travel to Wyandotte where lunch will be
served at the Portifino Resturaunt.
Then climb aboard the “Friendship” and enjoy a two hour cruise. After the
cruise, browse the Wyandotte Street Fair prior to boarding the bus. Departure
is 10:15 am, returning at 7 pm.
Fee: resident $60 and
non-resident $65.
Tigers
vs Seattle Mariners on Thursday, July 23. Sign up today to cheer on the home
team as the Tigers play the Seattle Mariners at Comerica Park. Also included is
a voucher for one slice of pizza or hot dog and a soda. Section
113 seating. Departure is 11 am, returning at 5 pm. Fee:
resident $40 and non-resident $45.
Seniors
may bring guests of any age. To register,
