Troy Students Grades 6-12 Can Take Advantage of Great Deals and Fun

 

 

(TROY, MI) – Teens staying in Troy for Spring Break won’t have a chance to get bored with Spring Break Troy Style activities to keep them entertained.

 

“Our businesses, churches and community groups are once again coming together to make sure teens spending ‘Spring Break’ in Troy have a chance to take advantage of great activities, deals and discounts,” Nancy Morrison, Youth Director with the Troy Community Coalition, said.  “Flyers with details about the numerous activities offered throughout the week are available at the schools, at www.troymi.gov/SpringBreak  or by calling 248.823.5088.”

 

Highlights include discounts at local restaurants, the 6th Annual Laser Quest Overnighter, Day of Tournaments at Zion Christian Church, and special Rock Wall, Open Swim and Spa events at Life Time Fitness,

 

One of the week’s highlights is the 6th Annual Laser Quest Overnighter on Saturday, April 9 from 11:30 pm-6 am.  This overnight excursion with six hours of heart-pounding laser quest action includes snacks and a continental breakfast.  The cost is $30.  Register at Laser Quest, 31401 John R or call 248.616.9292.  Larry Hills, the Laser Quest General Manager, explains that laser tag, a futuristic game combining hide-and-seek and tag, is perfectly suited for this type of event. 

 

“Laser Quest is perfect for groups of friends, and we know this will be a total blast for everyone who comes,” Hills said. “We do this type of lock-in all the time and have the experience to make it really fun and safe for everyone involved.”

·         Open Dodgeball at the Troy Community Center:  Monday, April 4 and Friday, April 8; from 1-4 pm; $3 payable at the Control Desk.

·         Golf Camp at the Sanctuary Lake Golf Course: Monday, April 4 & Tuesday, April 5, from 1-4 pm; register by calling 248.524.3484; $60/resident & $70/NR (Clubs & balls provided).

·         Bowling at Troy Lanes and Bowl One (1950 E. Square Lake & 1639 E. 14 Mile):  Tuesday, April 5, 5pm – midnight, Two games & shoes $5.95.

·         Life Time Fitness (4700 Investment Dr.): April 4-8, 12-4 pm; $10 admission fee.  Rock Wall, 12-2 pm; Wallyball, 1-3 pm; Open Swim, 2-4 pm.
