(TROY,
MI) –The Troy Museum
& Historic Village provides a cool place to play and visit for families
looking for a fun summer destination.
“This is a great place to engage curious young
minds with fun activities designed to provide a glimpse of the City of Troy’s
past,” Museum Director Loraine Campbell said.
The
Museum offers a number of activities to come enjoy anytime during its regular
hours. Ongoing activities throughout the
summer include: playing “school,” trying
a game of marbles, eating a picnic lunch on the Green, finding the ABCs of
pioneer life in the log cabin, reading a storybook with Cheddar the Museum
Mouse, completing the artifact hunt to win a prize, or matching up items from a
1900s Sears catalog with the exhibits.
“These
are fun activities to enjoy at any time we are open, designed to enrich your
visit to the Troy Museum and Historic Village,” Campbell said. “There is no registration required for these
and they are ‘free’ as part of the admission to the Museum.”
