Troy Parks & Recreation Offers Summer Camp Spectacular!

(TROY, MI) – A great summer tradition awaits Troy’s young people – Troy Summer Camps 2009.  A comprehensive roster of programming is designed to offer “something for everyone,” with over 20 camps slated throughout the summer months.

“Attending camp is one of the best ways for children and teens to spend their free time,” said Recreation Supervisor Barb Rupas.  “These camps are full of great activities that will keep young people busy, entertained and healthy this summer.”

Camp themes include Safety Town, Backyard Explorers, Robotics, Me and My Planet Earth, Detroit Shock & Girls Empowered and a wide variety of sports camps for all ages, skill levels and interests.  The sports camps include baseball, basketball, golf, dance, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, synchronized swimming, track and field, volleyball, water polo and more.

The Troy Sports Camps are brought to the community thanks to the following sponsors:  Hungry Howies Pizza, Blue Care Network of Michigan, Beaumont Hospital Troy, and the Troy School District.
