MI) – The Troy Family
Aquatic Center (TFAC) and Troy Community Center (TCC) are celebrating summer
with a week of fun-filled activities for everyone. Join both the outdoor and the indoor pools from
July 11-17 for excitement for all ages. Activities include:
July 11:
TFAC celebrates with “Harvey Day” where the center’s mascot, Harvey the
Octopus, takes over the day. The TCC
celebrates “Family Fun Day” with “noodles,” themed music and removable tattoos
available throughout the day.
July 12: Join the staff by wearing red, white and blue
for “Patriotic Day.” Color a picture for
display in the pool area.
July 13: Join the staff in wearing your favorite
college apparel for “College/University Day” and expect to hear college themes
played throughout the day.
July 14: For “Summer Celebration Day,” TFAC
offers the chance to come swim at the evening rate all day long. The TCC offers a rate of $4 all day with
noodles and tubes on hand to add to the fun.
July 15: It’s “Luau Day” at both pools, inviting you to
wear your Hawaiian prints with hula hoops available at both pools from 1-3 pm
and 5-7 pm.
July 16: This is “Water/Sun Safety Day” with an opportunity
to pick up handouts and color a safety picture to be displayed in the pool
areas.
July 17: The “Beach Party Day” theme day adds an
element of extra fun to the day’s swimming at both pools, including a sand
building contest at the TFAC.
Regular
admission fees apply, but note the special rate on Wednesday, July 14: admission to the Aquatic Center is at the
evening rate all day and at the Troy Community Center for $4 all day.
