Summer Ecology Days at the Nature Center

Give Children a Chance to Study their Surroundings June 23-26

(TROY, MI) – The Nature Center is offering children, ages 6-10, a special opportunity to study the science of ecology in a four-day program that features interactive games, activities, and crafts.

The session runs Tuesday, June 23 through Friday, June 26 from 8:30 am - 4 pm.  Participants are broken down into two age groups: 6-7 and 8-10 year olds.

Kids will explore the hidden world of insects, transform into aquatic biologists to discover life in and around the pond, and become nature detectives along the trails. The program will be held rain or shine, and participants will need to bring a sack lunch every day. The Nature Center will provide drinks and an afternoon snack.

The deadline to register is June 16 and the fee is $90. The Nature Center is located at 6685 Coolidge Highway in Troy.  For more information, call 248.524.3567.
