(TROY,
MI) – Julie Frawley survived a brutal assault by a serial rapist. Twenty years later she is telling her story at
the Troy Public Library, Wednesday,
March 18, from 7-8:30 pm in hope that her experience will help other
victims, their friends and family, as well as police, attorneys and those who
work with similar situations. This
program is for those 18 years or older
Frawley chronicles her journey from victim to
survivor in her book “Thirty Minutes:
Changed Forever.” A
representative from HAVEN, a member of the Troy Police Department and Julie Frawley will lead a discussion of sexual assault and
domestic violence.
HAVEN is a
nationally recognized non-profit whose mission is to eliminate domestic
violence and sexual assault through treatment and prevention services across Oakland
County and the surrounding communities.
