MI) – As part of its monthly
“Thursday Teas at Two Series,” the Troy Museum and Historical Village is
hosting a program on “Schoolteachers,”
Thursday, March 31 at 2 pm. Sip a cup of tea while enjoying a slice of
history.
An early-1900s
schoolteacher, portrayed by storyteller Lois Sprengnether
Keel, will talk about the development of schools in Michigan and what the
typical school experience was like. Fee: $7 per person. Register as space
is limited. The program will take place in the Old Troy Church.
