(TROY,
MI) – Sip a cup of
tea while enjoying a slice of history in the Old Troy Church at the Troy
Historical Museum. A different delightful topic will be discussed from 2-3 pm each month:
Tea with Lavender, June
25: Judy Cornellier will demonstrate the many
uses of lavender, from potpourri and sachets to cookies and punch. Judy will
also present several varieties of this plant.
Tea and Edible Flowers,
July 30: Linda
Swanson will share the magic of cooking with flowers. Samples will delight all
your senses. Recipes included.
Rose Tea, August 27: Museum Manager Loraine Campbell
shares the colorful history, symbolism, and uses of the rose, one of the most
common flowers in our summer gardens.
The
Fee for each event is $5 per person. Space is limited and
registration in advance is required. The Museum is located at 60 West Wattles
