Tee Ball is Great Summer Fun for Baseball Players

(TROY, MI) – Young children can learn baseball basics this summer in a fun, non-competitive environment through the Troy Parks and Recreation Tee Ball program.

This seven-week program runs June 22-August 6 with the option to meet once per week on Fridays for a fee of $41, or twice per week (Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays) for a fee of $71.

Children entering kindergarten in the 2010-11 school year can sign up for Tee Ball.  There are no tryouts – just fun!  Games are played from a tee using a “reduced injury factor” baseball.

Trained staff and instructors will conduct practices and games.  Required equipment:  glove, gym shoes and water bottle.
