Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are offered throughout the year.

Preschool Swim Lessons (6 months to 5 years)
Parent and Infant (6 months - 18 months)
Adult participation required. Introduce your child to the water. Participating adults will learn holding positions, cues, safety skills, and emergency prevention.
Parent and Tot (19 months - 3 years)
Adult participation required. This class is an extension of the Parent and Infant class.
One Fish (3 - 5 years)
For children who are ready to participate in lessons on their own. Teaches swimming skills including basic arm and leg movement, floats and water safety.
Two Fish (3 - 5 years)
Prerequisite: Must have passed One Fish skills. This class will work on improving beginner stroke, glides and water safety.
Red Fish (3 - 5 years)
Prerequisite: Must have passed Two Fish skills. This class will continue to improve beginner stroke, floats and glides, and introduce other swimming strokes and water safety.
Blue Fish (3 - 5 years)
Prerequisite: Must have passed Red Fish skills. This class will improve beginner stroke, continue learning other strokes and water safety, and improve endurance.
Gold Fish (3 - 5 years)
Prerequisite: Must have passed Blue Fish class skills. This class will focus on front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, elementary breaststroke, water safety and improve endurance.
Homeschool lessons are offered in the afternoon throughout the year for levels 1 - 4.
Youth Swim Lessons (6 years and older)
Level 1 (6 years and older)
Water exploration for children who have little or no experience in the water. This class will work on water safety, breath holding, arm strokes, kick and supported floats.
Level 2 (6 years and older)
Prerequisite: Must have passed Level One skills. Primary skills for children who can put their face in the water. This class will work on floats, beginner stroke and water safety.
Level 3 (6 years and older)
Prerequisite: Must have passed Level Two skills. This class will emphasize rhythmic breathing, and arm stroke and kick for front crawl and back crawl. Will introduce butterfly kick and treading water.
Level 4 (6 years and older)
Prerequisite: Must have passed Level Three skills. Stroke development for students who have earned a Level III card. This class will perfect the front and back crawl, introduce the elementary backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, survival float and advanced water safety.
Level 5 (6 years and older)
Prerequisite: Must have passed Level Four skills. Advanced stroke development for children who can do Level IV skills. This class will perfect front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, introduce breaststroke, sidestroke, dolphin kick and advanced water safety.
Level 6 (6 years and older)
Prerequisite: Must have passed Level Five skills. This class will focus more on perfecting al strokes and improving endurance. Will learn CPR, rescue breathing, and many other beginner lifeguarding skills.
Level 7 (6 years and older)
Prerequisite: Prerequisite: Must have passed Level Six skills. This is not an American Red Cross class but an introduction to swim team class that will focus on stroke perfection and endurance.
Teen/Adult Swim Lessons
Teen/Adult Swim Lessons (13 years and older)
Beginner and advanced classes for adults and teens 13 and older that want to improve their swimming skills. Participants will be separated into groups by their ability the first day of class.
Lifeguarding
American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Course (17 years and older)
This class is for anyone 17 and older who is interested in being certified to teach the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course. Prerequisite: Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate.
American Red Cross Lifeguard Course (15 years and older)
This class is for anyone 15 and older who is interested in learning the skills required to be a lifeguard. You will receive training in CPR, First Aid and rescue skills. You will also receive an American Red Cross Lifeguarding certificate.
Jr. Lifeguard Course (11- 15 years of age)
For youth 11-15 years of age. This class will introduce the skills needed for entry into the lifeguard training course, communication and decision-making skills, and the basic responsibilities of a lifeguard. Students will not be lifeguard certified at the end of the course. This is not an American Red Cross Class. Student receives a t-shirt, lanyard, whistle and rescue tube keychain. Prerequisite: Must have passed American Red Cross Level Five skills.
