Trails

Lots O Deer

The nature center building itself serves as the entrance to the approximately two miles of trails. The Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center's trails meander through our 100 acres of land. Along the trails are many different natural communities including dry forest, wet forest, wet meadows, cattail marsh and more. Additionally, the new asphalt pathway at the Nature Center now allows wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers access to a trail that leads through the forest and over the Rouge River. Whether you use the trails for nature study, or to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the natural world, your experience will be one to remember.

Trail Rules

We do ask that you remain on the nature center trails only, and not collect anything. We do not allow bicycles, pets, jogging, running or cross country skiing on the trail system.

We appreciate your adherence to these rules. Enjoy your time in nature and come back to see the seasonal changes throughout the year!
