Volunteer Opportunities

The Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center has a dedicated group of permanent volunteers who help in a variety of ways throughout the year. While volunteers at the Center won't be called upon to do actual teaching or interpretation of our programs, they are vitally important in the operations of special events and programs. They also help out in preparing crafts, assist our staff with children's programs, trail maintenance, invasive species control and a host of other duties. There are also special activities for our volunteers, as well. Volunteer opportunities are available for scouts, see "Scouting."

If you would like to become a volunteer, it's easy, just fill out an application and we will set up an interview time. After a successful interview and a background check, we will welcome you to the volunteer corps! Please contact us at 248.524.3567 and ask to speak with our volunteer coordinator. Thank you for your interest!
