DAY CAMPS

Summer Day Camps

Offerings include options for ages 5 and older and include exciting outdoor activities, group games, songs, crafts and more! Locations vary.

Skateboarding Camp (Summer)

Future Star Sports staff will instruct campers from basics skills to the extreme moves at the Troy skate park. Camp is for skateboarders and inline skaters. Full equipment required during this week long camp. Camp dates vary each year.

Fame Camp (Summer)

A week-long performing arts camp that explores the world of jazz, dance, theatre, music and art. The week culminates with an on-stage "stupendous" performance for parents. Bring your imagination, energy and let the fun begin.

Sportsters Camp

Created for the sports-minded camper. A variety of sports are played daily such as soccer, kickball and basketball skills, and swimming daily. Develop sports confidence while improving sports skills all in a team environment. Full day for ages 7-10 and ½ day for ages 4-6, sessions available.

Troy Sports Camp

Various youth sports camps are offered in cooperation with the Troy School District each summer. Registration begins in late January. The following Sports Camps are offered; Athletic Trainers, Baseball, Basketball, Junior Basketball, Cheerleading, Fantasy Sports, Fast Pitch Softball, Football, Golf, Gotta Dance, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, Pom Pon/Dance, Soccer, Junior Soccer, Speed, Agility and Quickness, Competitive Swim, Track and Field, Volleyball and Wrestling.

ENRICHMENT

Coach Dave

Coach Dave will keep your child active, learning and laughing regardless of age. Classes include Sports Starters, Motion and Me, Parent and Tot Fun Fitness, Kiddie Sports/Games and Kiddie Sports. Classes are offered September through May. Ages 2 1/2 to 6.

Dance classes

Choose from recital classes (30 weeks) that culminate with an annual dance recital in May or seasonal offerings that last 8-10 weeks. Trained instructors teach Hip Hop Jazz, Ballet, Intro to Dance and Tap. Ages 3 and older.

Parent and Tot Enrichment

Choose from field trips or our Funshop class that includes crafts, singing songs, and story time. All of these are great learning experiences for everyone!

Safety Town

Safety Town is a safety awareness program for children entering kindergarten. Safety Town Martell is a mock city complete with miniature buildings, streets, signs, stoplight, railroad crossing and tricycles that the children ride while learning safety habits. While the greatest emphasis is on pedestrian safety, children are taught bus, household, playground, strangers and fire safety.

SPORTS

Downhill Skiing

For youngsters in first grade and older, youngsters are transported by bus to Mt. Holly and will learn to ski or take advanced lessons (depending on their skill level). Each age group rides separate buses. Program takes place each winter.

Tennis

Offered indoors (at the Troy Racquet Club) beginning September through early May, and offered outdoor (locations vary) in the spring and summer seasons. Qualified instructors teach all levels for ages 4 and up through Troy Racquet Club.

Martial Arts

Judo, Karate and Self Defense Aikido classes are offered each session. Beginner-Advance classes are available. Kodokan-Judo, Shotokan-Karate, Koshinkai-Aikido and Okinawn-Sanchin-Ryu Karate disciplines are taught.
