Adopt-Our-Senior Program
Dear Troy Business:
Enhancing the quality of life in our community is the driving force behind what we do at Troy Parks and Recreation. It is our belief that a strong, healthy residential community equates to a robust, thriving business community. That is why we would like to create a partnership with you to help improve the quality of life for Troy senior citizens.
Troy Recreation's nationally accredited 50+ Program, housed at the Community Center, provides more than 60 activities and social services to people 50 and older. These services include a hot lunch program, sports and fitness programs, door-to-door transportation, enrichment classes, health screenings, computer lab and much more. More than 100,000 seniors participate in these programs annually.
What is the ADOPT-OUR-SENIOR-CENTER program?
ADOPT-OUR-SENIOR-CENTER is a program in which local businesses can "adopt" our Center by offering financial and non-financial support to our seniors. Companies may donate items like new or gently-used office equipment, gift certificates and door prizes, and professional services like marketing, printing, home repair and medical services. Companies may also make general cash donations to Troy Parks and Recreation for senior programming.
How can your business participate in this program?
Please fill out the ADOPT-OUR-SENIOR-CENTER application form and put a check mark next to the products or services you would like to provide. Feel free to mail in items like gift certificates for donated products or services, tickets and cash donations with your application. For other items, a member of our staff will contact you to coordinate delivery.
