Troy Fire Department Women's Auxiliary

The TFWA is comprised of wives and significant others of Troy firefighters, as well as other women who have a special interest in this activity. In addition to providing support to firefighters at incidents in the form of refreshments, they work to provide “care kits” to families who have suffered a fire and cannot stay in their home. These kits provide basic essentials on a temporary basis as well as pre-arranged overnight stays with local hotels. Their work is self-funded through various fund raisers held throughout the year. This special group of women continues to be a key factor in the success of the Troy Fire Department.
