Troy Fire Department Women's Auxiliary

The Troy Fire Department Women's Auxiliary is made up of wives and significant others of Troy firefighters (as well as other women who have a special interest in this activity). In addition to providing support during large incidents (i.e. coffee, refreshments, etc.), they work to provide "care kits" to families who have been burned out of their homes. These kits provide basic essentials such as blankets, toothpaste, clothes, and arrangements with local hotels for a place to sleep. Their work is self-funded through various fund raisers held throughout the year. This very special group of women have been a key ingredient to the success of the Troy Fire Department!
